Cauliflower Basil Tomato Pasta Sauce (10 months+)

A way to squeeze in cauliflower and veggies because J wasn't a fan of anything crunchy vegetable even when it's super soft. Also, not all babies could handle the acidity of the tomato. Test a small amount with baby before serving more again.

Ingredients
1 head Cauliflower, florets
1 Onion, chopped
4 cloves, Garlic
1/2 Red Pepper, chopped
1 Carrot, chopped
14oz can of chopped Tomato
5 fresh Basil Leaves

Instructions:

  1. Boil water, and cook the cauliflower for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat the pan, add some olive oil, and cook the carrot until soft. Add onion and garlic until fragrant. Add the red pepper and cook until softened.
  3. Add everything to a blender and blend until smooth.
*Freeze in 60mL portions.*
Can mix this sauce with cooked minced meats and pour over pasta for baby
